Órna Loughnane is a passionate violinist and piano teacher with a special focus on nurturing young learners. As a native English speaker, Órna offers friendly and encouraging lessons that inspire both children and adults as they embark on their musical or linguistic journey. With a deep love for her students, for Music, and the English language, she is dedicated to fostering creativity and building her student’s confidence from the very first lesson.

Órna Loughnane was born in Melbourne, Australia, and completed her schooling in Dublin. She then earned a Bachelor of Music Performance at Trinity College before moving to Graz, Austria, to complete her Master of Concert Performance at the Music University. Since 2000, Órna has performed with renowned ensembles such as the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic, the Radio Symphony Orchestra, and Camerata Wien.
While raising her own children, Órna turned to teaching and spent a few wonderful years as a native English speaker in Austrian kindergartens. Today, she is an independent violin and piano teacher who offers friendly and encouraging lessons to inspire enthusiasm and creativity in young learners. In addition to instrumental lessons, Órna also teaches English and shares her knowledge with both children and adults.
